Custom pairs
A token can trade against SOL or STONK, or against another token from StonkFun’s pairs list that passes possum’s own, stricter checks.
The checks
- At least $250,000 of liquidity that Jupiter routes through.
- A first pool at least 14 days old.
- A price.
- No token extension that could charge, block or claw back a payout: a transfer fee; a permanent delegate that can move anyone’s tokens; a transfer hook that can block or tax transfers; transfers that can be paused; tokens that cannot be transferred; new accounts that start frozen; any extension possum cannot read.
- Not in a securities-adjacent category: tokenized stocks; Backpack’s tokenized stocks; pre-IPO shares; Tessera’s pre-IPO shares.
- A symbol StonkFun marks as ambiguous is refused unless possum pinned that exact token. STONK is pinned, since pump.fun tokens copy its name.
The list is rechecked every 6 hours, and the pairs page shows what passes and why the rest do not. A launch in a custom pair needs a dev buy worth at least $1.
When a pair falls off the list
- Its tokens keep trading, and their holders keep getting paid.
- possum does not buy POSSUM with a pair it will not route, so the buyback share of those tokens’ fees goes to their holders instead, paid in that pair. POSSUM and buybacks
- Side pools stop buying in it.
- Its tokens count at 50% of their tickets in the lottery. The lottery
- SOL and STONK never fall off.
