POSSUM
Neighborhood drops
Every launch sets aside a slice of its own supply. When the token reaches milestone 1, that slice lands on the holders of other good tokens.
The slice
- The launch transaction buys 2% of the token’s supply into possum’s drop wallet, and the creator gets its cost back at milestone 1. Launching a token
- If the token can no longer reach milestone 1, the slice is burned.
Who receives it
At milestone 1, verifiable randomness picks 5 neighbor tokens, weighted by their scores. A token can be picked if it:
- reached milestone 2 at least 1 day ago;
- is in the score’s good tier, with at least 50 holders outside detected clusters;
- has been picked fewer than 3 times in the last day, so no token soaks up every drop.
How it splits
- Between the picked neighbors, by their scores.
- Within a neighbor, among the wallets holding it at that moment, by weight, with the score’s de-weighting and the creator held to 20%.
- No wallet gets more than 1% of a slice in all. What the caps and rounding leave is burned.
Vesting
Drops vest over 7 days and are paid out as they vest. Selling or sending the dropped token before then forfeits the unvested part in proportion, and anything forfeited that is paid out again vests again, so there is no forfeit pool to harvest.
Holding a token that received a drop makes you part of its neighborhood too, so a long-term holder always carries a rolling stack of drops still vesting.
