Holding and weight
A wallet’s share of a token’s fees is its weight over everyone’s. Weight is how much it holds times how long it has held.
The multiplier
Weight = tokens held × a time multiplier. The multiplier starts at 1x when tokens are bought and rises in a straight line to 3x after 30 days, then stays there. Holding 1,000 tokens for half that time gives a weight of 2,000.
- Linear in amount. Twice the tokens is twice the weight, so splitting a bag across many wallets earns nothing extra.
- Selling part of a bag shrinks the amount and keeps the time held, so the weight scales down in proportion. It never resets: taking profit is not punished.
- Buying more averages the new tokens into the time held, by amount. A big buy late pulls the clock back more than a small one.
- Receiving tokens from another wallet counts like a buy at that moment, and sending them counts like a sale.
- Locking tokens for yourself, in a lock nobody can cancel or redirect, keeps them in your holding with their time. Creators and locks
- Pools, vaults and other program-owned accounts are never holders.
How weight turns into money
- Daily pots are split by weight across the whole day, second by second. Buying a minute before the day ends earns almost nothing for that day. Epochs and payouts
- The milestone 1 release is split by weight at that moment, which is why the earliest buyers who stayed take the largest share. Escrow and milestones
- The score can shrink a wallet’s weight: wallets in a detected cluster, and wallets that mostly buy in a launch’s first seconds, count for less. It never takes tokens. The holder score
